"Red Hot & Country"
"The Hottest Country Songs From The Hottest Country Stars", is the best way to describe a show that has built up audiences, wherever it has been broadcast.
In the past, it has enjoyed runs on Oasis Radio 96.6FM (South Herts), The SuperGold Network of stations, Radio 106FM, Century 106 (East Midlands), and Wave 105 (South of England), plus an experimental 4-week run on elevenSEVENTY(High Wycombe).
I am constantly looking for other stations, wit h a view to extending the coverage of "Red Hot & Country".
So, to hear the programme on , you'll need to use your computer, your smart-phone or internet radio to log in to www.cmrnashville.net Mondays at 12noon, or catch a repeat broadcast either on Mondays at 8pm, Tuesdays at 4am, or Sundays at 2am (all UK times). There will also be a look into the rear-view, with tracks from a featured 'classic abum' each week, and lots lots more...
Park Radio 87.7FM is a 28-day Restricted Service Licence station, serving the area surrounding Diss in Norfolk. It carried RED HOT & COUNTRY on Sundays at 4pm from 28th November2010, and also carried a special RED HOT & CHRISTMAS programme on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, due to my hospitalization, I was unable to participate in their December 2011 broadcasts (as had been planned). However, in December 2012, they Carried the Top 30 Country Countdown for 3 weeks, and another RED HOT & CHRISTMAS programme on 23rd December
In the past, the programme has attracted some of the biggest names in Country Music, including: Garth Brooks,Reba McEntire, Chely Wright, Raul Malo and Robert Reynolds of the Mavericks,Travis Tritt, Suzy Bogguss, and Billy Ray Cyrus..
The "Red Hot & Country" archive of interviews has subsequently spawned the "Talking Country" series, which is available to other radio stations, under licence. Please email me for further details.

My love of Country Music goes back to my days behind the counter of the Musicland record-shops and at RCA Records. I had the pleasure of looking after Dolly Parton on her 1976 visit, when she had U.K. Chart success with "Jolene".Dolly Parton "Jolene" won the Single of the Year award at the 1976 British Country Music Awards, and I was honoured to collect it, on Dolly's behalf, from Tammy Wynette.
My country hero has always been Waylon Jennings.
Indeed, I named my cat after him ! So, here's a picture ofWaylon & Willie !!!
